Susan A. (Speed) Reynolds

Susan is married to Dr. Tim Reynolds (Class of 1977). They have two sons and a daughter and live in Houston, TX where Susan teaches 2nd grade at Brookwood Elementary School. Jamey is graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Economics on May
11! He has landed a job in Dallas with a foreign exchange business
and will be moving in June. Logan has almost completed his freshman year at Texas A&M and still deciding on a major at this point. Holly is a junior in high school and is thoroughly enjoying her friends and activities. Tim is an interventional cardiologist and stays busy and challenged daily. Susan is in her 14th year of teaching and loves her 2nd graders. There's always something new and fun to look forward to everyday. Besides teaching, I love going to the A&M football and baseball games and vacationing in Seagrove, Florida! Other news: My mom(Ruth Speed) died of a massive heart attack Nov. 2001, at which time, Dad (Fred Speed) came to live with us in Houston. He was with us for 4 years until he passed away in Dec. 2005 from leukemia. Tim's dad (R.J. Reynolds) passed away in July 2005 from pancreatic cancer. It's been a very busy few years in the "sandwich generation", you know, taking care of parents AND children,... but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. It was such a blessing as I look back on it. I've always appreciated my parents, but I never realized how much I would miss them after they're gone. Don't miss an opportunity to tell your folks what they mean to you!
